How to authorize DueKept to file for your company

California’s Secretary of State requires every company to control who may submit filings on its behalf. This takes about three minutes and you only do it once — after that we handle every future filing without asking you again.

  1. 01

Create or log in to your bizfile account

Go to bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov and click Login in the top right. If you don’t have an account yet, create one — the state uses a two-factor login, so keep your phone nearby.

    Find your company

Search for your company by name or entity number and open its record.

Check whether you already have access

If your company appears under your business records and you can open its filings, you already have Full Access — skip to step 4. If it doesn’t, request an access PIN. The state mails the PIN to the company address on file, which takes several business days. Start this early — it’s the one part nobody can speed up.

    Grant us access

Open the access management section of your company record and add our email address with basic filing access:

    filings@duekept.com

Basic access lets us submit filings for you. It does not let us grant access to anyone else, and it does not remove your own control.

    Tell us it’s done

Reply to our email, or write to hello@duekept.com. We’ll confirm we can see the record and start on your filing.

Stuck?

Email hello@duekept.com and we’ll walk you through it — in English or Russian. If the PIN letter hasn’t arrived or the address on file is outdated, tell us; there are ways around it and we’ll find the right one for your situation.
