Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information DueKept (operated by Smart People Corp) collects when you use duekept.com and our filing service, and how we handle it.

What we collect. Through our intake forms (hosted by Tally) we collect the information required to prepare your Statement of Information: entity name, entity number, business and mailing addresses, names and addresses of managers/officers/directors, registered agent information, and your email address. We never ask for your Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number.

What we don't collect. DueKept does not use tracking cookies or analytics by default, and this site does not require you to create an account.

Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe. DueKept does not receive or store your full card number.

How we use your information. We use the information you submit solely to prepare and file your Statement of Information, to communicate with you about your order and upcoming deadlines, and to provide the reminder service you opt into.

Sharing. We share information only with the service providers needed to deliver the service: Stripe (payments), Tally (intake forms), and our email provider (order and reminder communications), and with the California Secretary of State as part of filing your Statement of Information on your behalf. We do not sell your data.

Data retention. We retain your intake information for as long as needed to provide the service and to maintain records of filings made on your behalf, and to satisfy our own legal and accounting obligations.

Your choices. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you, subject to our need to retain filing records, by writing to hello@duekept.com.

Governing law. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California.
